The Taliban allegedly beheaded Sohail Pardis, who helped US troops for 16 months during the war in Afghanistan; it reported Friday. The report also states that Pardis received death threats from the Taliban for the interpretation services he offered to the US during the war in Afghanistan and noted that the Taliban were calling him an American spy.
Sohail Pardis was said to be travelling home on May 12th when he was stopped by a Taliban checkpoint and was supposedly killed when trying to cross during the Eid holiday.
Villagers that witnessed Pardis last moments told the Red Crescent that he had been driving through the desert only to be shot by Taliban militants.
